Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in California, requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and an active CA RN license.
Responsibilities
- Acute care hospital Cath Lab setting
- Daily caseload averages 8-12 cases
- Procedures performed include coronary and peripheral diagnostic/intervention as well as permanent pacemakers
- Day shift; four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm
- Weekend and on-call shifts required
- Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff
- Charting is done using Epic EMR
- No floating required outside the Cath Lab for this role
- First-time travelers will be considered for this Cath Lab RN role
- 30 hours of orientation provided for all new travelers
- Block scheduling requests may be considered
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Return travelers must have a 3-month gap since former perm employment and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Cath Lab team performs a range of cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions
- Free parking available on the first day, with assignment parking details provided during orientation
- RTO must be requested and approved at time of offer
- Dress code for Cath Lab is hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and Fluoro Permit (RCIS only is not acceptable)
- Willing to consider candidates with pending Fluoro Permit if already applied
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- SSN and DOB required for employment consideration
- Must provide at least two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a related specialty
