Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a MD or compact license and proficiency in multiple surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Work in the hospital's Operating Room setting
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by the facility
- Handles surgical cases including GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative nursing care
- Accountable for quality of care delivered to surgical patients
- Must document nursing care according to professional guidelines
- May only request up to 5 days of time off
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination required; declinations not accepted
- Minimum of 2 years recent General OR experience required
- Demonstrated experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics surgeries
