BC/BE Gastroenterologist, permanent employed position in Northeastern New York. 60% GI hospitalist, 40% clinic; hospital-based with busy office practice. Full-time, shared 1:5 call; procedures supported including EUS/ERCP/Spyglass where desired. - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active NY medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in inpatient consults and outpatient clinic
- Ability to take 1:5 call
- Endoscopy skills; EUS/ERCP optional (training/privileges available)

Seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join a hospital-based practice
Join 4 Gastroenterologists on staff: 3 in private practice and 1 in a hospital-based practice
All 4 physicians have a very collegial relationship and share on-call duties
The position entails 60% as a GI Hospitalist and 40% clinic based
The opportunity includes a busy office and hospital consultative practice
The typical workweek is split between inpatient and outpatient work
Call is 1:5 and is moderate.
EUS and ERCP skills are optional; for those that wish to practice ERCP, the hospital can accommodate Spyglass procedures including lithotripsy using EHL, stent placement/removal. Turnaround time for endo procedures is 10 minutes.
