OR (701) -6:30AM-4:30PM/13 WEEKS (967557) Patient Ratios – average 50 hours of surgical time (patient in room) Monday – Friday. Weekends vary with Saturday heavier than Sunday. EMR - Meditech List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Burn: high acuity patients mostly from ICU: wound debridement, skin grafting, dressing change · Dental: restoration (cavities) and oral maxillofacial · ENT: T&A through parathyroidectomy and cochlear implants · Gastroenterology: EGD, colonoscopy · General - everything · Gynecology – ablations, vaginal/abdominal hysters · Neuro – stealth, spinal fusions, discectomy, craniotomy · Open Heart – CABG, fempop, fistulas · Ophthalmology – vitrectomy, cataracts, corneal transplant · Orthopedics – trauma, total joints, sports med · Plastics – breast augmentation/reconstruction · Pychiatry – electroconvulsive therapy · Robotics – gyn, general, urology · Trauma – damage control resuscitative surgery, neuro, ortho, general · Urology – cystoscopy, TURB, TURP, stents
