Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of MRI experience, ARRT/MRI certification, and experience with GE scanners and Epic EMR.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based magnetic resonance imaging department
- Primary responsibilities include operating GE MRI scanners
- Shift schedule is typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with variable first shift hours
- Call required based on department needs, including one weeknight call (Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM) and one weekend every 4 weeks (Friday 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM)
- May float within skill set onsite or to affiliated sites within 40 miles as needed
- Epic EMR is used; prior experience is preferred
- Responsible for performing MRI procedures as ordered
- May be required to float between sites within a 40-mile radius to support workflow needs
- All applicants must provide two professional references and a copy of Driver's License
- Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced rate based on radius rule
- Covid vaccination is not required

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Current ARRT/MRI certification required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Must have experience with GE MRI scanners
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
