Job Details:
• Work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12 hour shifts)
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Weekend requirements: every weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Perform computed tomography (CT) and general radiology (x-rays), including portable procedures
• Provide radiologic services for patients of all ages including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Perform accurate CT and x-ray procedures according to protocol using optimal techniques
• Handle patient positioning, equipment preparation, and monitor patient condition before, during, and after scanning
• Administer contrast injections as ordered by physician
• Report critical findings to appropriate personnel and assist physicians with invasive procedures
• Enter data into HIS system and use RIS to capture patient visits and charge information
• Follow radiation safety measures and infection control policies
• Must have 3 years of CT and radiology technologist experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT, and Virginia License
• Completion of AMA accredited Radiology Technology program required
• Must be able to work weekends/holidays and be available for all shifts as needed
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Electronic medical records system: EPIC
