Position Overview:- Location: Near Phoenix, AZ
- Start Date: ASAP (as soon as credentialed)
- End Date: Ongoing
- Shift Type: Flexible, with a minimum commitment of 3-7 days per month
- Setting: Hospital and office-based practice
- FTE: 0.5 - 1.0 (depending on availability)
- Duties:
- Evaluate and treat patients in an ambulatory clinic setting.
- Perform endoscopy procedures during scheduled block time and while on call.
- Procedures include ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) and EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound).
- Office capabilities include esophageal manometry, video capsule endoscopy, and Fibroscanthese procedures are performed by clinical staff and interpreted by physicians.
- Support Staff: Includes medical receptionists, surgery schedulers, medical assistants, and registered nurses.
- EMR System: Cerner
- Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Gastroenterology.
- State License: Must hold an active Arizona state license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand).
- Residency/Fellowship: Completion required.
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
- Malpractice: Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for at least one week (7 days) per month, including the ability to perform ERCP and EUS.
