Travelers must work every other holiday, similar to full-time staff. Pending approval for additional night shift RN travel contracts.

Job Description

This unit averages 80 to 90 deliveries monthly and consists of a mix of experienced RNs and new graduates gaining specialized OB experience. The environment supports high-quality patient care, particularly with the involvement of traveler RNs who play a crucial role due to the number of new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Utilize specialized OB knowledge and skills to support patient needs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care
• Participate in patient education and support

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Preferred: 3+ years of OB experience
• Consideration: Candidates with less than 3 years may be accepted with prior travel experience or specialized OB setting experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Active nursing license required
