Women s Health Hospitalist Model is a collaborative effort between the affiliated hospitals, the community healthcare providers, and the team of Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists.

Hospital :
- Average deliveries - Approximately 280/month, The Hospitalists average 3/shift
- Triage is very busy though about 500/month with a minimum of 5 deliveries per shift and its not unusual to have 10 deliveries /shift
- OBED Busy with 500 visits/month (minimum 5/shift, not common to see >10/shift)
- GYN surgeries
- $1200 per 24 hours. Minimum two shifts/month
- Not during hospitalist shift
- May opt into GYN call coverage when not working shifts
- Possible additional GYN call coverage for affiliate OB practices (at $1200 per shift)
- Additional in-house OBGYN from UNLV who provides backup support 24/7 in case of emergency
Hospital
- Average deliveries - Approximately 175/month -Hera Hospitalist might be 1-2 deliveries /shift on average with an occasional 5/deliveries per shift (vaginal or primary surgeon c/s)
- Most patients have private physicians
- Including precipitous deliveries that they perform but require follow-up as Private comes in to take over.
- Assist on all private physician c/s and there can be as many as 5 in a shift but other shifts none
- OBED No, see all triage patients, average 2-8/shift
- GYN surgeries
- $1200 per 24 hours. Minimum two shifts/month
