Location: Near Abbotsford, Wisconsin We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine Physician specializing in Hematology and Oncology for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin. This opportunity offers a blend of outpatient and inpatient care for those seeking a dynamic and rewarding temporary position. Assignment Overview: Dates: February 10 - February 21, 2025, with potential for future coverage opportunities. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Call Duties: Two weeks of call, shared within the system, with one week on at a time. Setting: Outpatient and inpatient mix with a patient load of 10-15 per shift. Procedures Required: Bone marrow biopsies and intrathecal chemotherapy. Technology and Equipment: Intellidose TxM for treatment management. Practice Responsibilities: Provide outreach coverage two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Work alongside one other department oncologist. Collaborate with three advanced practice providers (NPs). Leverage support from radiation oncology services and an experienced care team. Supervise advanced practice providers as needed. Qualifications: Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology is required. Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology. Active certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and BLS. Ability to secure hospital privileges within approximately 60 days (for clean files).
