Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift role requiring a VA or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years' ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Work is in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Assignment is focused on adult and pediatric emergency patient populations
- Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on scheduling needs
- First time travelers are accepted
- Standard hospital dress code required
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI certifications not accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination card required
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
- Cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed full time elsewhere
