Job Overview:
We are seeking an Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Practice (FP) physician to join our inpatient care team in North Carolina on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to provide impactful care while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Duration: 3 months with the option to extend
• Setting: Inpatient
• Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday, full-time (40 hours per week)
  • No weekends or holidays required
• Patient Load: 10-15 patients per day (rounding)
• Paper charting (no EMR)
• Support staff includes Psychiatrists, Social Workers, RNs, and Primary Care providers

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality inpatient care for adults
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage patient care plans
• Ensure thorough documentation and communication

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (or eligible to obtain)
• Previous inpatient experience preferred
