The Behavioral Health Associate provides direct support in the care of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse, focusing on physical and mental wellness. Responsibilities include clinical procedures, non-clinical support tasks, and maintaining a safe and compassionate environment for patients and staff. This part-time role requires emotional resilience, patience, and the ability to manage challenging situations constructively while supporting unit operations.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Education: High School Diploma and/or Nurse Assistant training course
- Preferred Experience:
- Behavioral Health, Psych, or Direct Support Professional
- This role requires a high level of emotional resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm and grounded under pressure. The ideal candidate is someone who can set boundaries, handle confrontation constructively, and offer compassionate care while maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.
