Locum Tenens Opportunity: Psychiatrist Provider Needed Near Lunenburg, VT Overview Are you a compassionate Psychiatrist looking for a flexible locum tenens opportunity? We are currently seeking Psychiatrist Providers to perform Initial PTSD exams, follow-up PTSD exams, and other mental health exams across the country. This position offers the flexibility of sporadic shifts, billing per exam, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Veterans. Job Details Profession: Physician Specialty: Psychiatry Default Rate Type: Per exam Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Shift Type: Days (sporadic, per exam) Details Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of Veterans? Here are the details of this unique opportunity: Sporadic Availability: We are willing to accept providers with sporadic availability, with shifts scheduled on an as-needed basis. Coverage Options: You‘ll have two options for coverage: travel to perform exams at VES leased facilities or schedule Veterans within your own practice. Per Exam Billing: Providers will be compensated on a per-exam basis, providing flexibility and control over your earnings. Exam Types: The primary focus will be on Initial PTSD exams, follow-up PTSD exams, and other mental health exams to assess and address the needs of our Veterans. DMA Certification: Certification through the Disability Medical Assessment (DMA) program is available, offering the opportunity to earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. If not already certified, you‘ll need to obtain certification once privileged. Technology Requirements: Providers must have their own personal laptop (NO MACs) to complete evaluations and submit Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Timely Reporting: Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion, with evaluations completed in VES‘s provider portal. This streamlined process ensures efficient and accurate documentation.
