Summary of duties:
- Dust high and low surfaces (above shoulder height).
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and restores dispensers with soap and paper products.
- Removes trash, relines trash containers, cleans receptacles if required and takes trash to dumpster.
- Dust mop and damp mops floors, vacuum, shampoo carpeted floors.
- Cleans additional rooms as requested (e.g., after special event or meeting).
- Replace/cleans soiled draperies.
- Clean refrigerators and other areas as instructed by manager.
Requirements for our Custodian CSR Position:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Must successfully pass IFS background check and may be required to pass a drug test depending on the location being serviced; in healthcare settings, drug test is required
- In health care settings, required to maintain up-to-date immunizations and annual flu shots
- Janitorial/housekeeping or comparable experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).
