Med-Surg Tele RN – Facility: 122-bed Teaching Hospital | Trauma Level III Unit: Acute Med-Surg w/ Tele | 51 beds Start: Within 2 weeks (license on file at submission) Experience: 5 yrs Med-Surg Tele or 3 yrs Tele required Prior travel required (2 assignments at 300+ bed hospitals or prior UVMHN acute care) Epic experience (within last 2 yrs) – nonnegotiable Certs: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (prior to start) | Tele cert preferred Ratios: Days 3–5 | Nights 4–6 | LNAs 1:8–10 Schedule: 12-hr shifts | Every other weekend | No call | No block scheduling Skills: Tele application & interpretation, NG tubes, peripheral IVs EMR/Systems: Epic | Pyxis Float: Infrequent, to like units Patient Mix: Tele, post-op ortho/urology/GI, COPD, CHF, diabetes, EOL, dementia (adults) Support: RT & Anesthesia 24/7 | Free charge nurse | Free parking Rates: Travel $100 | 51–100 mi $95 | ≤50 mi $90 (straight-line distance) Notes: Reliable vehicle required (no public transit); snow tires Nov–Apr
