The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care across a broad patient population, focusing on general surgical, neurosurgical, and spinal anesthesia procedures in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, airway management, and collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams within a Level II Trauma Center. The role requires board certification, active licensing, relevant certifications, and a minimum of one year of CRNA experience.

This position offers a supervised CRNA role with a strong emphasis on general surgical cases, along with exciting opportunities to engage in neurosurgical procedures and spinal anesthesia.
Job Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure.
- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures.
- Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process.
- Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
- Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op).
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards.
- Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week with no on-call duties required.
- Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center.
- Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases.
- Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms, with rotating assignments based on need.
- Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed.
- Board Certified CRNA - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan license - REQUIRED
- Clean Background - REQUIRED
- ACLS & BLS through AHA - REQUIRED
- PALS - REQUIRED
- Must have 1 year CRNA experience - REQUIRED
- No job gaps - REQUIRED
- Prefer full-time providers but will consider part-time - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Board Certified CRNA
- Active State License in Michigan
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification
