Job Description
A Salem, Oregon based client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide care to patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician Assistant who values providing equitable care to all populations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited MSN/FNP program
- Current OR state Nurse Practitioner license
- Completed an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certificate
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages in urgent care
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy
