American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for an acute care Critical Access Hospital assignment, requiring BLS certification and an active license.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient setting
- Assignment focuses on patients with debilitating diseases
- Patient census averages 6 to 8 per day; inpatients are typically seen twice
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- Utilizes Point Click Care EMR
- Roles include covering hospital, nursing home, and outpatient areas
- Supported by an OT manager and COTA
- Professional attire required
- Department-specific orientation provided
- Return candidates may not have been directly employed by the hospital system within the past year
- Specific radius rules may apply based on state of assignment
- Active Occupational Therapy license, state or compact; license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Occupational Therapy experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in acute, rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings preferred
- Professional references including one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
- Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
