Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist for an outpatient sports medicine setting with MA license and BLS certification required.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient sports medicine department with occasional hospital shifts as needed
- Four ten-hour weekday shifts between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm
- EPIC charting is used for documentation
- Patient population consists of both year-round residents and a large seasonal influx
- Located in a coastal island community setting
- Shared housing is provided at no cost for travelers
- Role may require occasional hospital-based coverage in addition to outpatient duties
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Local candidates must live more than 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital to qualify for the standard rate
- Parking may incur costs depending on assignment location
Requirements
- Active MA Physical Therapist license required; conditional licenses not accepted (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum of one year recent physical therapy experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Proof of flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions
