TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local operations based in Hurst, Texas. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Flatbed Driver Job Details:

  • Schedule: 1st shift Mon-Fri. 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Pay:  $29 per hour, $1160 estimated weekly pay. 

  • Route Type: Local

  • Equipment: 48-53ft flatbed truck/trailer

  • Handling: Light Touch (load securement)

CDL A Flatbed Driver Job Minimum Requirements:  

  • License: CDL A

  • Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
  • Endorsements: None
  • Equipment Experience: At least 2+ years of flatbed experience

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Flatbed Driver Job Responsibilities:  

  • Safely operate 48-53ft flatbed on local routes 

  • Transport steel beams in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

  • Perform required handling tasks, including laying dunnage and load securement. 

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including being able to lay dunnage across the trailer before it is loaded, as well as strapping and potential tarping. The driver is not required to load their own trailer but must secure it.
