Novant Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and operating rooms.

This role works independently and with physicians/APCs to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service — in every dimension, every time.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and therapeutic radiology procedures.

  • Perform radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile exams.

  • Assist licensed practitioners with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., ERCPs, bronchoscopy, mini C-arms, post-reductions).

  • Perform mobile imaging, including lines, pacers, and neonatal imaging.

  • Ensure proper operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.

  • Monitor equipment performance and arrange for maintenance as needed.

  • Apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.

  • Comply with all federal and state radiation safety laws and proper use of monitoring devices.

  • Contribute to a safe patient environment guided by the principle of “First Do No Harm.”

Education & Experience
  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program (required).

  • Certification required within 6 months of graduation from an accredited Radiology Program (required).

  • Associate degree in Radiography (preferred).

  • Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience (preferred).

Licensure & Certifications
  • ARRT certification in Radiography – RT(R) (required).

  • Applicable state licensure (required).

  • Post-graduates must pass ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program (required).
