Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel position in Tennessee requiring an active TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
• Assignment length of 16 weeks
• Care for patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns
• Assist with deliveries and assess maternal and fetal well-being
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
• Proper documentation and credential copies required before start
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• Minimum of one year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications required, with no expiring certifications within the first 30 days
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
