Work Schedule: Day shift / Full-time

Monday through Friday

Medical Specialty: Primary Care

Work Location: In-person, office-based setting

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, diagnosing and treating patients under the supervision of a physician.

• Order and carry out diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays, electrocardiograms, lab work) and interpret results, identifying any abnormalities and ensuring follow-up care and patient communication.

• Offer counseling on medication usage, address mental health concerns, provide health education, and perform routine preventive care assessments.

• Suggest appropriate treatment options and help guide the patient's care plan.

• Accurately document all patient interactions and services provided in medical records.

• Administer various medical procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care management.

• Contribute to community health by creating and managing patient care plans.

• In-office responsibilities include performing tasks such as:

  • Wound repair

  • Cyst and abscess drainage

  • Skin biopsy procedures

  • Joint and trigger point steroid injections

  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

  • Pap smears

  • IUD removals

  • Ingrown toenail removal

  • Wart removal

Required Qualifications:

• Active Texas Physician License (Required)

• Board Certification (New graduates must be board-eligible and will need to obtain certification before starting the position)

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus

• Experience with eClinicalWorks is a bonus

• Candidates with a green card or U.S. citizenship are preferred; H1-B candidates who have completed the J1-waiver are also welcome to apply.
