This position is for a full-time or part-time Urgent Care Physician in Greensboro, North Carolina, providing general and preventative care to patients in an urgent care setting. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, performing minor surgical and orthopedic procedures, managing various patient types including worker's comp cases, and potentially supervising other healthcare providers. Candidates must have a medical degree, completed residency, relevant licenses, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a new, well-equipped facility.
Greensboro North Carolina Urgent Care PhysicianThe Urgent Care is recruiting for both full-time and part-time Physicians to join our team. Our employees will enjoy working in a brand new facility, with state-of-the-art equipment, and an easy to use EMR. We are looking for candidates that truly care about their patients, work well independently and as part of a team, and are looking to grow with our clinic.Responsibilities:Provide general and preventative care for children and adultsAssess, plan and treat patient needs within an urgent care setting and triage patients to differentiate between immediate and less urgent carePerform minor outpatient surgical procedures such as wound closure and management, and incession and drainagePerform diagnostic and therapeutic orthopedic procedures such as application and modification of braces, casts, splints, and other orthopedic appliancesEffectively manage private, pre-employment and worker's comp patientsOrder labs, tests, injections, referrals and prescribe medicationsEnsure proper diagnosis, handling, and recoveryMay supervise Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioners to assure compliance of all applicable regulationsPerform other duties as required or assignedEducational/Experience Requirements:Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical schoolSuccessful completion of residency program in area of specialtyMust possess a current license to practice medicine in North Carolina, or have the ability to obtain a North Carolina licenseCurrent DEAAbility to read and interpret X-RaysPlease send CV to HCRC
