Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating day and night shifts as needed
• Shifts may be variable to accommodate operational needs
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Uses ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Assignments at any one facility location may not exceed 18 consecutive months
• A minimum of 6 months must pass before returning to work another assignment at a facility location
• First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand
• A minimum of 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience required prior to travel assignments
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing during orientation
