What You'll Do: Manage a diverse patient population in both a clinical and endoscopic setting, offering consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment plans for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. Perform a variety of endoscopic procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, anorectal manometry, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and 24-hour pH monitoring. Provide on-call support during the week (night call) and manage patient needs that may arise outside of regular clinic hours. Be available for 24-hour call on weekends to ensure continuity of care for patients requiring immediate gastroenterology expertise. Collaborate effectively with nurses, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for each patient. Integrate seamlessly with the Epic electronic medical record system to document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans. Maintain a compassionate and supportive demeanor when interacting with patients experiencing digestive health challenges. Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Gastroenterology. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritize effectively, and make critical decisions in time-sensitive situations. Demonstrated commitment to patient care and follow-through with lab results and other ordered tests. Additional Information: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing (6-month commitment preferred).
