Job DescriptionThe MS/Tele Float Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients in a float unit. The position requires the ability to float between units as necessary and maintain high standards of patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in a float capacity across various units.
- Monitor and manage patients with dysrhythmias and other complex medical conditions.
- Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and effective management of oxygen delivery methods.
- Utilize Epic for charting and documentation accurately.
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.
- Must have a valid New York state nursing license in hand.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience required.
- BLS certification is a must.
- Experience with EPIC charting is required.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
