Position Details:
Title: Travel Speech Therapist
Location: Belle Fourche, South Dakota
Shift: Day shift (5 8-hour shifts per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Description: As a Travel Speech Therapist, you will:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain and enhance their communication and swallowing abilities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and quality of life.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Active Speech Therapist license in the state of South Dakota or eligibility to obtain one.
Certifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
Additional certifications relevant to SNF care are a plus.
