Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in California with prior Cath Lab experience and CA RN licensure required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Cath Lab within an acute care, Magnet facility
- Day shift with four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required for 5-6 shifts every two weeks, including every other weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning and one weekday call shift
- Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call
- No floating required between units for this position
- Utilizes Epic EMR system
- Perform nursing responsibilities within a Cath Lab setting, assisting with cardiac catheterizations and related procedures
- Scrubs of any color may be worn; L&D and OR provided
- All travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state, per assignment needs
- Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
- References from at least 2 supervisory sources covering 1 year of employment are required for consideration
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of previous Cath Lab RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
