Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
- Support patients and their families by providing education and emotional support.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital unit experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS required prior to start).
- Epic electronic health record system experience within the past 2 years.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in large, teaching hospital settings.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
