A top facility in Richmond, Virginia is seeking Board-Certified/Eligible Neonatologists for in-house 24/7 coverage starting late July 2025 through at least August 1, 2025, with potential for extension under new group management.

• NICU Level III 40 Beds

• Avg Census: NICU 4.3, Newborn Nursery 24.2

• Annual Deliveries: 4,250

• Daily Patient Load: 5 6

• In-house 24/7 coverage:

  • Day Shift: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM (2 MDs)

  • Night Shift: 5:00 PM 7:30 AM (1 MD)

• Procedures/Modalities:

  • High-frequency ventilation (HFOV, HFJV)

  • Inhaled nitric oxide

  • Pediatric surgical patient management

  • Therapeutic hypothermia with aEEG

• Pediatricians cover well babies

• Subspecialty support includes onsite cardiology and pediatric surgery (no ECMO or cardiac surgery beyond PDA ligation)

• EMR: PermiEHR / Meditech
