Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Stepdown Unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiac stepdown nursing and be able to provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from intensive care.
Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced cardiac stepdown environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and ECG readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in unit meetings and professional development activities.
- MUST have 18 months of permanent experience in the cardiac stepdown specialty prior to travel.
- MUST have 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience; travel experience is acceptable.
- MUST possess a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be performed during orientation.
