Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position requiring a current CA RN license and 2 years of ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Trauma ICU of an acute care hospital
- Level II Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching facility
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Weekend shifts are required
- Floating required within ICU and Telemetry units as needed
- Cerner EMR is used in this facility
- Free parking is available for staff
- Level II Trauma Center patient care responsibilities in the ICU
- Must complete 3-6 hours of required training modules during orientation
- Scrub attire should be professional with no camouflage or character patterns
- Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted, with 1 holiday off approved
- Returning staff must have a one-year break before reapplying
- COVID vaccination status is required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
