• Schedule: 40 hrs/week (5x8 days)
• Submission packets must include resume, appropriate skills checklist, and proof of licensure (Full NURSYS report if RN).
• Recent travel experience required
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Locals not accepted – 50 mile radius rule
License and Certs
ARRT or NMTCB registered or registry pending
NDMIRTBE licensed or temporary license
Experience Requirements
Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist
Ability to start IV’s for contrast administration
Proper charging of procedures by hospital information system
Ability to adapt and learn new protocols on new equipment as purchased
Mostly "Garden Variety" Imaging. Stress tests, HIDA, Bone, and PET/CT would be helpful but not required.
Duties
Performs Nuclear Medicine studies, prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies under the direction of the Radiologist.
Performs quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment according to the policies or procedures of the hospital.
Follows radiation safety techniques and policy in the receipt, use, and disposal or radioactive material.
Organize and perform daily work to ensure smooth and orderly flow and prompt performance of exams ordered.
