What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation skills as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the residential location.
- Follow all site-specific protocols, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms, in accordance with company and local regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
