Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or equivalent experience as required by the client.
  • Active Arizona state SLP license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in comprehensive SLP evaluations, developing treatment plans, goal writing, and documentation in accordance with hospital and payer guidelines required.
  • Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and providing patient and family training, including home exercise programs preferred.
  • Ability to manage individual and concurrent caseloads and provide coverage as needed.

  • Must complete timely, accurate documentation including daily notes, goal writing, discharge documentation, and letters of medical necessity per hospital policy.
  • Candidates must adhere to hospital standards for professional appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
