ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• ACLS and BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic health record system

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care using Meditech EHR
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
