Locum-tenens General Surgeon role with flexible on-call and collaborative 3–4 physician team. General Surgeon, permanent locum-tenens in Arizona; on-call 0–2x/rotation; performs endoscopy, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, occasional trauma; full-time schedule; any state medical license accepted; clearance in 4–6 weeks. - Active ACLS and BLS - COVID vaccination - Preferred ≥1 year surgical experience (new grads considered) - Ability to obtain institutional clearance within 4–6 weeks

Welcome to an Exciting Opportunity in General Surgery! Responsibilities:

• Perform general surgery procedures including endoscopies, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repairs, and occasional trauma cases.
• Participate in on-call rotation, covering ER calls with a frequency of 0-2 times per rotation.
• Collaborate with a team of 3-4 physicians to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Preferred 1 year of experience, but new grads are welcome to apply.
• Must have received the COVID vaccine.
• Ability to obtain clearance within 4-6 weeks.
