This is a full-time locum tenens position for a board-certified Interventional Radiologist at a Level I Trauma Center hospital in Michigan, providing coverage from January to June 2026. The role involves performing interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, and biopsies, primarily serving adult and geriatric patients within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have an active Michigan medical license, BLS & ACLS certifications, and preferably a clean malpractice and license history.
Coverage Details
January 1 June 30, 2026
Monday through Friday, 7 AM 5 PM
On-call: Every 3rd weekday and weekend (1:3 call ratio)
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days (fast-track available)
Requirements
Board-Certified Radiologist
Active Michigan Medical License
BLS & ACLS Certifications
Local Provider Only
Clean Malpractice & License History Highly Preferred

Patient Demographic: Primarily Adult (frequent geriatric)
Team Structure: 3-physician / 2-APP IR team
