As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and interacting with employees and visitors to deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Document and report any observed incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required during critical situations.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist employees, visitors, and customers with security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
