RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 3 shifts per week and every other weekend scheduling requirement
• Assignment length options of 13 or 26 weeks
• High acuity COVID ICU unit with 14 beds
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Must have 2+ years of ICU experience
• Required to float as needed per hospital floating policy
• No call requirements
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Must be comfortable with vasoactive drips and have strong understanding of hemodynamics
• Preferred skills include ECMO and CRRT (NxtStg) experience
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
• Unit performs ECMO, CRRT, chest tube insertions, and central line insertions
• Work with specialized equipment including ECMO NxtSTG
• Dress code: Navy scrub tops and pants, navy or white scrub jackets required
• Maintain clean and healthy nail policy
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered when possible
• Only ear piercings permitted
