The Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician is responsible for covering all deliveries and emergent gynecological surgeries on a 24-hour on-call schedule at a Level III trauma center. The role requires active licensing in Maryland or the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, as well as certifications in BLS and CPR. The physician collaborates with other onsite specialties including cardiothoracic surgery, neurology, and pulmonology, managing an average of 5-7 admissions per shift.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Active Maryland License or IMLC in hand to be considered
Providers with an IMLC can interview but cannot credential or book shifts until licensed
Must be willing to obtain the Maryland CDS (Controlled and Dangerous Substance) and Maryland DEA to work at Western Maryland
Required Certifications: BLS, CPR
Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): 1
