Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring recent MS and MS/Tele experience and an active TN or compact license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
- Shift is 7pm to 7am, with schedules of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Requires floating to other units as needed
- No call responsibilities
- General orientation takes place on Sundays with online CBLs
- Expected to support clinical education for nursing students alongside clinical duties
- Standard hospital dress code and professional demeanor required
- Must be prepared to adapt to census-driven schedule adjustments
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license at time of consideration
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- First time travelers will be considered
