Anesthesiology Physician providing general and specialized anesthesia services including regional blocks and pain management in a Level 3 Trauma hospital near Oklahoma City. Operates independently within a 13-provider team across multiple ORs and surgical suites, covering a variety of cases such as orthopedics, ENT, urology, and OB/GYN. Requires board certification, active Oklahoma licensure, and proficiency in advanced anesthesia techniques and equipment.
Location: Near Oklahoma City, OK
Duration: June Ongoing
Schedule: Full-time preferred, will consider part-time
Shift: Monday-Friday, 5x8's
Call: 1:13 first call and 1:13 second call rotation (off Post-call days)
Scope: Perform own cases
Cases: General Anesthesia, Ortho, ENT, Urology, Endo, Interventional Cardiology, Pain Management, Robotics, Spinal blocks, Peripheral Regional anesthesia required (adductor, femoral, TAP, brachial plexus, axillary), OBGYN/labor epidurals preferred, Healthy peds. (no Neuro, trauma, or complex peds)
EMR: Anesthesia Touch/Plexus
Equipment: New Perseus Draeger anesthesia machines, Glidescope, CMAC, Sonosite ultrasound machines
Hospital: Level 3 Trauma. Independent practice model with no supervision for CRNAs. 7 OR s, dedicated c-section suite, 1 Endo room, separate ASC with 3 OR s and 2 Endo rooms
Group/support: 13-provider group: 3 Anesthesiologists, 10 CRNAs. All providers perform cases and take call. Supportive team environment with assistance always available
Requirements (boards, license): BC, Active OK License or Compact, practice independently and perform spinal blocks and peripheral regional anesthesia
