Registered Nurse - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday with the Heart team, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule
• Shift times vary based on case start times: 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM for 7:00 AM cases, or 6:40 AM to 3:10 PM for 8:15 AM cases
• Required to take weekday call 1-2 times per week, staying until cases are finished then on-call from home
• Weekend call required 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule (Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)
• Must live within 30-40 minutes of facility for call responsibilities
• Team averages at least 2 cases per day with rare weekend call-ins
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Work with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Float within hospital when needed
• 10 hours of orientation required
• Must have cardiothoracic experience and circulating skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Valid PA license or Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• 2 supervisor references preferred

The facility provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires completion of mandatory modules for all clinical staff.
