Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a respiratory intermediate care unit, requiring a KS or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a 41-bed Med/Surg respiratory intermediate care unit, including care of post-CVA patients
• Hospital setting with patient population including both medical and post-stroke cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
• Local candidates are accepted but may be offered a reduced rate depending on the radius rule
• Two separate professional references and a copy of driver’s license are required for consideration
• Role may include caring for respiratory and post-stroke patients within a multidisciplinary team
• Only one position may be applied to within the health system at a time

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• Nursys license verification and current license documentation required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required
