The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking Interventional Radiologists to work full-time at their hospitals in the Pee Dee region. The Pee Dee region consists of three hospitals: Florence SC, Marion SC, and Black River SC. All located within a short drive from one another.
Interventional Radiologist should be BE/BC and able to perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging services including mammography, PET/CT and general IR procedures (biopsies, drainages, injections).
This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in the Pee Dee region. Join a team committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care while maintaining a supportive and comfortable environment.
General:
- CT and US biopsies, drainages, injections
- Chole tubes, nephrostomy tubes, venous access
- Dialysis access work, fistulagram/declot
- Pleur-x, gastrostomy tubes
Specialized:
- PAD interventions
- Management of chronic stenotic and occlusive disease including angioplasty, stenting for Iliac, femoropopliteal, tibial disease.
- Superficial venous disease
- GSV ablation, sclerotherapy, phlebectomy
- Deep venous disease
- DVT thrombectomy, chronic venous recanalization
- Oncology
- Renal transplant interventions
- Ureteral stenosis, biopsies, renal arteriogram/stenting
- TIPS/BRTO
- IVC filter placement/removal
- UAE
- Renal cell cryoablation
- Pelvic congestion
- Vertebroplasty/Kyphoplasty
About the opportunity:
- Candidates must be BC/BE in Radiology
- On-site and remote reading coverage required
- Community-based practice serving a broad patient population
- Staff are well-established, collaborative and dedicated to the hospital and community
- Single VPN with Sectra PACs; PowerScribe dictation system
- EMR: Epic
