Top academic hospital in Brooklyn looking for a Gastroenterologist to become the Director of Advanced Endoscopy: This is an employed position with a base salary + RVU bonus, CME money and standard hospital benefits including malpractice coverage.

Job Function:

• Department currently has seven general GIs who report into Chair of GI.
• Program has therapeutic endoscopists, 2 hepatologists that rotate from Northwell and NYU, a GI motility program and a large pediatric IBD program that provides referrals.
• Want to continue to build programming so candidate will head up the advanced endoscopy program and long term help to create a fellowship program.
• Involvement in teaching and academics required, have two fellows in program so want this person very engaged in teaching.
• Faculty appointment through local medical school.
