This position is for Family and Internal Medicine Physicians providing comprehensive primary care and preventative services to a diverse, multilingual outpatient population. The role involves working collaboratively within a clinical team to support community health initiatives, including Medication Assisted Treatment programs and EMR transitions. Established multi-specialty primary care leader is excited to add part time and full-time (32+ hrs) Family and Internal Medicine Physicians passionate about community health and providing quality, accessible care to vulnerable and underserved populations where English may or may not be their first language.
The Physician will provide comprehensive Primary Care to patients within an outpatient environment. Also will deliver direct primary care and preventative services to assigned children, adolescent, and adult patients. In addition, the Physician acts as a member of the clinical team and works collaboratively with other departments in providing patient care, health education and counseling to patients.
PATIENT POPULATION:
- 33% English speaking
- 33% Portuguese speaking (Brazilian)
- 33% Spanish speaking
PROJECTS:
- Assist with the transition to new EMR in 2026
- Provide support to growing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)/OBAT program
- Attends trainings, weekly Provider and Team meetings, and collaborates on practice, administrative, and quality improvement projects, as assigned by Clinical Director
